Triple E Training
I worked as a full-time content writer for an Adult Education and Training provider. Whilst in their employ I wrote website content, blogs, articles, LinkedIn posts and articles, Facebook posts, Twitter posts, press releases, emails, and more.
Whilst working for EEE Training I learned the value of pillar posts and became quite efficient at writing long articles where the word count exceeded 2000 words.
You can visit their website, but not all the blogs that you will find there were written by me as they have several contributors. To make things easier for you here are some links to a few of the blogs I wrote:

For your convenience, here is a sample of one of the LinkedIn articles I wrote for them:
Can you learn to swim online?
Technology is a wonderful thing. It has opened up so many channels for commerce and communication; allowing us to grow our businesses and our networks. In fact, technology is so useful that we have incorporated it into every part of our business operations.
There is no need to waste time on a call; send an email.
There is no need to drive to a meeting; set up a conference call.
There is no need to attend training; learn a new skill online.
And yet, through the use of technology – what is the one thing that has been removed? Human interaction.
I know the floor will be divided between those who think that this is okay, human interaction just gets in the way of business progress anyway; and those who value the importance of one-on-one communication, personal interaction, and training and mentorship that takes place face-to-face.
For the purposes of this article, let us consider what it would be like trying to teach someone to swim using an online course.
Picture this: the learner is in a room, lying down on a small narrow table, imitating the arm, leg and breathing movements of the swimmer on the training video. After several hours they have developed a great rhythm and they are sure they’ve got it. They climb into a pool and attempt to emulate what they have been practicing. There is a lot of splashing and a fair amount of water is involuntarily ingested before they hoist themselves out of the pool – despondent, disillusioned and determined never to try that again!
Keep this image in mind while we compare online adult education and training sessions to face-to-face training.
Granted, there are people with technological understanding who are perfectly capable of learning new skills online, and who, by all means, should take advantage of this type of training. This article is, however, specifically aimed at employees who lack foundational training; who need to be taught the basics at grassroots level; to put it quite bluntly – some of whom have never operated a computer before.
Attempting to train someone who is functionally illiterate using technology is – well –like trying to teach someone to swim using an online course. They are going to become despondent, disillusioned and determined never to try that again; completely and utterly in over their head.
